The Land of Bears is an exclusive land to the anime, it is shown to be a very heavily forested area. The hidden village located in the Land of Bears in known as Hoshigakure. The village is surrounded by a valley of poisonous gas that they named Devil's Ravine. The valley protects the village from enemy attacks. A meteor struck the village 200 years before the start of the series.
