Well it was a great first week, and the program went much better then I had anticipated. Are 5 Temps gave it their all, but in the end one still had to go home sadly. The grading this week was rather difficult to make in some categories. On a brighter note every single Temp. received at least two A's on their review. The program has been going the way I want it to, and I wouldn't doubt if we use the same method in the future.
It is time for the results. All grading was completed by Shadowmlb, additional bonuses may have been given to select members based on their performance. In week one we will say good bye to TobiMadaraUchiha. He is a great member, but he just couldn't stay as active as the other members which led to his downfall. We would like to thank TobiMadaraUchiha for being one of the first members to take part in the program, and he may once again be considered in the future. You will find the rank and final average grades below.

As you can see, Sasuke&Obito was the best of the best this week. We hope that he carries his success into next week with Bsgirl361 & Sasukecool only a little away. I wouldn't forget about Millerofthesand either! Week One comes to an end, we begin Week Two & it is anyone's game!

Most of you may already be aware, but Narutofan1010 is undergoing a lot of cool new updates. Pages are being completely redone from scratch to make things easier to find and overall to make the site look more professional. We also are implementing changes to how future moderators may be selected, as well as how you can become a writer a lot quicker then you could before. A new program that has been added is know as the Temporary Moderator Program. This program is used to test promising writers for a moderator position. The program will allow us to view you up close, and we will test to see if you can handle everyday situations that you may encounter. The program is currently in testing, but we hope to be able to use it at anytime to help select a moderator when ever we need a hand. The main differences between a normal moderator and a temporary moderator are very little, but they are differences. Unlike normal moderators, temporary moderators can be demoted at anytime without warning. In addition temporary moderators must also gain permission before preforming certain tasks. We soon hope to add an easier way for members to contribute to the site. That means, the quicker you guys become writers the more help you can be to us. The current proposal on the table is 5 comments spam free, and you must edit your profile at least once. We believe this is reasonable and will allow us to see that you are really devoted to the site. All writers who have not been active in at least 9 months will be demoted tomorrow, this is usual protocol that takes place every couple of months. Quiet a few pages have been updated to the best they can be. Walrusworldstudios, Shadowmlb, & Sasukecool have been doing some great work on a select number of pages, and we are shocked on how they turned out. Temporary Moderator Program

Hello, Shadowmlb here! I'm glad to introduce the new program that I wish to implement for future use. Just so everyone knows, temporary moderators have the status of a normal moderator but can be demoted at anytime. I like to consider this the trial run of the program, and it is possible in the future that writers may just be promoted for a trial run rather then making a competition out of this.
The contest began yesterday on Friday. So far all those who have been chosen have been doing some great work, and I can't wait for the upcoming weeks. The members that were chosen are 5 trusted and well respected members of the site. These members are Sasukecool, Sasuke&Obito, Millerofthesand, Bsgirl361, & TobiMadaraUchiha. The competition is set to end on October 24, 2009 but can run longer depending on if any other writers stick out enough to deserve a spot in the competition. That's right! Even if you weren't selected you still have the chance to be selected before October 24, 2009. The guidelines and rules of the competition are listed below.
1. Every moderator will be graded weekly, and will be sent a record of what I would like you to improve on. You will be given points in every subject that I am grading you on. A total of 10 per category and possibly some bonus points, but those could just depend on the situation.
~0 - 10 Points is an F
~11 - 20 Points is a D
~21 - 30 Points is a C
~31 - 40 Points is a B
~41 - 50+ Points is an A
2. You will be graded on:
~Number of Contributions
~Quality of Content
~Friendliness Towards Other Members
~Understanding of the Rules and Regulations of the Site
~Understanding of the Features of Wetpaint
3. Every week the moderator with the lowest point score will be removed from their position. They will still be sent a message of what they need to work on. *If I see a large improvement in their work after their elimination, it is possible that they will be brought back for one last chance.
3. Those who are selected, can under no circumstances brag. Those found doing so will be removed from their position and replaced.
4. Your point scores will not be shared with anyone other than you. It is up to you what you wish to do with the scores that week. Although I will not reveal the actual point scores I may show which place every member finished in that specific week. This is just so everyone can keep track of who is in the lead, or if there are changes in the lead from the following week.
5. This contest will basically continue till only one or two moderators are left. I would like to try and get it to one, but if I can't decide between the two then they will both receive a final spot.
